Self healing every 28 days

 

Is self healing really possible? If so, how can we align our self care routines to the moon phases, and why is that so beneficial for our well-being?

As the moon goes through its different phases, it doesn’t only change visually in how we see it, but it also emits different energies at each stage, affecting how we feel. By aligning ourselves with the moon's energy rather than resisting it or ignoring it, we can create more flow in our lives.

The easier way to accomplish this is by practising self care routines for each different moon phase, and by doing this we can access the care we need and when we need it, as well as following a self-healing programme that is completely natural and based solely on energy.

 

During a new moon phase, which only lasts 24 hours, the energy is all about quiet self-reflection and getting in touch with what you really want, making this phase a prime opportunity to set intentions. Connect with your inner self and use your self-care time to get clear about what energy you want to call in during this lunar phase. If you are a visual person, it would be a good idea to put together a vision board or mood board to reflect and visualise those intentions.

 

The waxing moon phase's energy lasts about a full week after the new moon, during which you should be putting in the hard work to make your intentions a reality. Remember to check in with yourself and how far you’ve come during this phase, and in order to clear any self doubt and obstacles stopping you from reaching your goals, you can have a black tourmaline crystal handy.

 

After two weeks from a new moon, a full moon comes with its potent energy that lasts about 48 hours. This self-reflective energy tells us what to release in order to move forward: it’s now time to give closure to cycles, relationships, and habits that no longer keep us fulfilled. Remember to celebrate the accomplishments and the intentions you’ve reached since the new moon.

 

Lastly comes the waning moon phase, which lasts about six days, and is the lunar cycle's final phase before it restarts. After the full moon's powerful energy, this is the time to recover, rest, release, and rediscover your intentions and inspirations. Practise some yoga, book a relaxing massage session, go for a walk, or write in your journal, as long as you find the time to recharge your energy.

 

By aligning ourselves with the moon's energy, we can create a monthly self-healing process and strengthen the flow of our energy in our daily routines, all while feeling more accomplished and confident in ourselves.
