Morning Miracles
Have you ever had a bad day? Or a mediocre one?
The way we start our day can really affect what and how we are going to feel when we go to bed in the evening. Focused, productive, successful mornings generate focused, productive, successful days, which inevitably help create a fulfilled life.
Every day is a chance to be better, and we believe that starting with a great morning is the way to set the best conditions for this to happen. To achieve this sense of development and growth, most people find themselves more productive and motivated when they stick to a healthy and consistent morning routine.
There are a few small, short, and easy to carry-through habits called Morning Miracles which if stacked one after the other, will set the right circumstances for a productive and successful day.
The first one is silence. When you first wake up in the morning, sit on the edge of your bed and slowly move your awareness through your body. As you focus on each body part, be grateful for everything that body part does for you. This meditation habit will help start the routine with calmness and clarity of mind.
The second habit is setting affirmations for the day. Begin by telling yourself some positive words that will motivate you to go after your goals for that day with a feeling of confidence.
Now visualise your day. Look through your to-do list and see yourself in your mind’s eye going through your day, being calm, full of joy, and getting things done.
It’s now time to get up and exercise to get your heart pumping and get oxygen flowing to your brain. This will energise your mind and body. It can just be a quick 30 minutes session of yoga or pilates on a matt in your living room.
The next habit is adding some reading to your morning, so you’ll be starting the day by filling your brain with the knowledge of what you’re reading, for example, some inspirational quotes that will motivate you to get things done that day.
Last but not least, take the time out of your day to journal and let go of your hurtful emotions, to make space for joy, calmness, and positive energy.
Practicing these morning rituals consistently will help release any tension and heal body and soul with the aim to rebuild a healthy lifestyle.
